Hello Lovebirds! On this episode of The Necronomicast, I welcome back to the program writer/producer Mark Onspaugh. I had Mark on a few episodes ago with his "Christmas Ghost Stories". That episode was so well received, that I invited Mark back to chat about the dark history of Valentine's Day and highlight his book entitled Dark Valentines, a collection of writings and short stories. Mark will read two stories, a short one about the budding of a new love, and a long form story about the nostalgia of a long lost love. Throw in a discussion about the odd relationships in Peanuts cartoons, and a visit from the ghost of Chet Baker, and you have yourself a wonderful way for you and your sweetheart to spend an hour of your time. (Music Credits: "At Rest" and "Easy Lemon" by Kevin MacLeod, (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons, "My Funny Valentine" and "Have You Met Mrs. Jones" as performed by Chet Baker. )
