In this episode we talk to RJ from SyFy's Face Off Season 2. RJ was a finalist on the show as well as a fan favorite winning over the audience with his signature designs that included the Dr. of Razors, the Orchid/Chameleon, and the Bellhop. He talks about what it was like after the lights of the reality show faded, what prepared him to try out for the show in the first place, and where he wants to take his talents in the future. From the Face Off Bio Page: RJ earned his spot on Face Off by winning the Syfy Viewers Choice Contest at the 2011 Comic Con in San Diego, where he competed against two other artists in a live make-up challenge, using prosthetics, paint and airbrushing to transform a live model into any creature. RJ was trained at the Joe Blasco Makeup School in Hollywood. He worked at special-effects company Alterian Inc. as a shop runner and production assistant followed by a brief stint at Amalgamated Dynamics Inc. RJ moved back home ten years ago to help his family. He received his Regents Bachelor's of Arts at West Virginia State. RJ now teaches film, television, multimedia and special effects to high school students at his alma mater in Charleston, West Virginia. RJ hopes Face Off allows him to work on more projects and open up a studio in West Virginia. |

In this episode we chat with Brea Joseph, a contestant on SyFy's Face Off season 2. She spent a few weeks and made her mark on the show with some outstanding make up effects and even a little drama. She shares with us her love of blood, guts, and puss as well as how she managed to expand her business while testing her skills on a reality television show. Her bio from SyFy: This California native isn’t just good at makeup…she’s army strong. Brea owns and operates her own special effects company, where she creates simulated trauma injuries for military and medical training courses. Her only special effects education was training under a Dick Smith/Westmore graduate. Despite her lack of traditional training, Brea’s enthusiasm and energy makes her a fierce competitor. In this episode we are joined by Melanie Kinnaman, star of Friday the 13th part V. She talks to us about what it was like to film the movie as well as being a part of an iconic horror franchise. Melanie is a veteran actor and has appeared in many television shows, films, and commercials. Her resume includes spots on television shows such as Saturday Night Live, Cheers, Hill Street Blues, and General Hospital as well as a slew of television commercials for a variety of national products. She now is enjoying meeting fans at conventions, working on new projects, and living her life without having to run through the mud trying to escape supernatural killers. |

In this episode we welcome make up and special effects artist Beki Ingram from Syfy's Face Off season 2. She is a very talented artist and we chat about what it was really like behind the scenes on the show and how she delt with being cut off from the rest of the world for the duration of the show, working with other personalities, dealing with drama, and what she is up to after the show. Beki's Syfy bio: Beki Ingram comes from a small struggling family who encouraged her imagination and creativity beyond just a pencil and piece of paper. Beki has no formal training but has always had an artistic eye on life, striving to get hands-on with anything that ignites her artistic monster lurking inside. She is greatly inspired by the movie The Elephant Man. She got her professional start in special effects at Robert Kurtzman’s Creatures Corps where she learned to apply and create characters that she had only imagined. Beki is driven, outspoken and honest. A few of her idols are Jim Henson, Terry Gilliam, and Hayao Miyazaki. |

In this episode of the Necronomicast we are joined by Larry Mainland from AMC's The Walking Dead. He is known as the "getting out of the car zombie" and is prominently featured on many of the show's promotional materials. His main role was spotlighted in the series premier and just by being dead and getting out of a vehicle, has become part of television and zombie history. He joins us via skype from the UK and we talk about his role as a demon from Hell as well as his friendship with Clive Barker. At the Young Vic he played Ernst Robel in 'Spring Awakening', At the Chichester Festival Theatre he played opposite Nicholas Parsons and Ruthie Henshall as 'Gabby' in 'Follow the Star', In Cairo and Bucharest he performed in 'The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)' and played Roy in 'Neville's Island'. He played the Butterball Cenobite in the first two Hellraiser movies. He also created and played the role of Ohnaka in Clive Barker's holocaust movie 'Nightbreed'. In 2009, he had played Derek in 'The Book of Blood' for Matador Pictures and is filming 'The 4th Reich' in the Ukraine during 2012. On television, he can be seen in the SKY TV 'Better Effect' commercials. In 2000, he won actor of the year award for his portrayal of Pip in Great Expectations at The Vassa Theatre in Stockholm, and has also designed and directed several international tours including 'The Big Day' Sofia, Qatar, and Dubai as well as Educating Rita in Kuala Lumpur. In 2004 he took a production of 'Shirley Valentine' to help raise money for a new school. |

In this episode we talk about one of the episodes of the Walking Dead, where friend and former show guest Joe Giles was once again prominently featured as a flesh eating walker. He is the walker that tries to pull Lori from the car and shoves his face through the windsheild. Joe has been featured several times and even has a new action figure out now of his off the bus suit-wearing zombie in episode 1 of season one. We also share some thoughts on the current season of SyFy's Face Off. We have our oppinions on how well the contestants are doing, who should go home next, and how this whole season has been so far.
